In 1995, Air Liquide created a Joint Venture in Hangzhou and the history of ALHZ begins; in 2008, Air Liquide Hangzhou changed to a subsidiary wholly invested by Air Liquide Group.
In 2002, Air Liquide moved its syngas engineering team from Singapore to Shanghai to start ALENSA operations.
