Air Liquide can provide state of the art solutions to large users of industrial gases in China.

One example is the new Air Separation Unit and the H2/CO plant to supply customers such as BASF, Huntsman and BP by pipeline in Caojing Basin in Shanghai. More over, Air Liquide took over the Air Separation Units of Rizhao Steel in Rizhao to supply gases for their steel production. In Zhangjiagang, Air Liquide is supplying the new steelworks of ZPSS, subsidiary of the Korean Posco (production of stainless steel).

Air Liquide is building large ASUs in Tianjin, Dalian and Zhangjiagang to supply Tianjin Soda, Dalian Special Steel and Shagang. 

 

Our offer to large industries Metals

- Oxygen, nitrogen: used in steelworks to improve their productivity and energy efficiency.

- Argon: make stainless steel.

 

Refining and natural gas

- Hydrogen: desulfurize fuels and ‘crack’ hydrocarbons.

- Oxygen: stimulate certain elements or to gasify petroleum residues; transform natural gas into fuel or methanol.

 

Chemicals/Petrochemicals

- Supply air gases, hydrogen and carbon monoxide to manufacture polyurethanes and polycarbonates.
