In 1995, Air Liquide created a Joint Venture in Hangzhou and the history of ALHZ begins... Later in 2002, Air Liquide moved its syngas engineering team from Singapore to Shanghai to start ALENSA operations.

Air Liquide Engineering in Hangzhou

1995   Creation of the joint venture between Hang Yang Group and Air Liquide International: Hang Yang Air Liquide Co., Ltd.

1997   The 1st export to AL Indonesia

2000   The 1st ASU turnkey contract signed for Wuxi Tech Gases Co. Ltd. (Jiangsu Province, China)

2001   ISO9001: 2000 version certified

2002   The 1st CO cold box manufactured in ALHZ

2002   The company name changed to Air Liquide (Hangzhou) Co. Ltd.

2003   Workshop extension

2003   The 1st contract for big ASU (60000 Nm3/h) for Yankuang Group (Shandong Province, China)

2005   The 10-year anniversary celebration

2007   New workshop extension


Air Liquide Engineering in Shanghai

2002   Establishment of ALENSA in Shanghai to develop and support Syngas (H2 & CO) business

2003   Completed integration of second H2/CO plant with existing plant in AL Korea Yeosu site.

2006   Completion of first Group H2/CO plant project in China (Start-up H2 production in 2005 and CO in 2006)

2007   Grouping Engineering activities with ALC and Large Industries activities in the same building to create more synergy and efficiency to address Customers' needs.
